The American Firearm Council is sponsoring the worst piece of legislation you can imagine for the safety of your schoolchildren.

    The so-called Student Self-Defense Act or SSDA would actually arm all public middle and high-school kids in the State of Florida with a real 9-millimeter handgun they call the Skillbuilder and a 10-round magazine, then train them to shoot on firing ranges built on school grounds.
